Appointments
Book an appointment
Book online in a minute, or call us — reception answers throughout the day and can usually find something that suits within the week.
Book online, any time
Pick a time that suits without waiting for us to open. You will need a minute and your health fund card if you have one.
Appointments that suit work
Late until 7pm Tuesday, 8pm Thursday, and open all day Saturday until 5pm.
Costs up front
You get the options and the gap before treatment starts, not after.
Nervous patients welcome
Tell us when you book and we will allow extra time and go at your pace.
Booking
How appointments work here
- Why are there two online booking systems?
- The practice takes bookings through Local Healthcare and through Dental4Windows on the Centaur portal, and patients hold accounts with one or the other. Sending everyone to one of them loses whoever already uses the other, so the button asks first. If you have no preference, take the recommended one.
- How far ahead should I book?
- For a routine check-up, a couple of weeks is usually comfortable — longer for a Saturday or a late night, which go first. For anything urgent, ring on the day rather than booking online.
- What if I need to cancel or move an appointment?
- Ring us as far ahead as you can. A slot given up with notice almost always goes to somebody waiting to be seen, which is the entire reason it matters. Short-notice cancellations and non-attendance may attract a fee.
- What happens if I am running late?
- Ring and tell us. Depending on how late and what you are booked for, we can sometimes still fit you in, and sometimes it is better to move you than to rush the appointment. Either way it is a better outcome than arriving and finding out.
- Will you remind me before the appointment?
- Yes, to whatever contact details we hold, and a recall reminder before each interval falls due. Tell us when your mobile or email changes — an old number is the usual reason a reminder does not turn up, and nothing on our side tells us it bounced.
- Can I book online for something urgent?
- You can, but ringing is better. Online booking shows you the scheduled diary; it does not show the room we hold each day for emergencies, and reception can tell you what to do in the meantime.
