About our dentists
Questions about who will treat you
- How do I choose which dentist to see?
- For a first appointment it matters less than people expect — any of our dentists can do an examination and give you a plan. What matters more is sticking with whoever you see afterwards, because most of the value of a regular dentist is in the comparison against last time.
- Are your dentists registered with AHPRA?
- Every clinician here holds current registration with the Dental Board of Australia through AHPRA, and registration numbers are published on our team page. You can verify any of them yourself on the AHPRA public register, which is worth knowing you can do for any practitioner anywhere.
- Will the same dentist see my whole family?
- They can, and there is a genuine argument for it: patterns run in households, and a dentist who has seen the parents' mouths knows what to look for early in the children's. Ask for it when you book rather than leaving it to whoever is free.
- What if I would prefer a male or female dentist?
- Say so when you book. It is a common preference, nobody will ask you why, and reception will simply book you accordingly.
- Do particular dentists here focus on particular treatments?
- To a degree. Clear aligner consultations are with Dr Mayuri Gavit, for instance, so ask for her by name for those. For general work, reception will tell you who is available and there is no meaningful difference in what is offered.
- What happens if I do not get on with the dentist I saw?
- Ring reception and ask for someone else next time. It happens, nobody takes it personally, and we would far rather do that than have you go without a dentist you are comfortable with.

New patients are welcome six days a week. If it has been a while since your last check-up, say so when you book. We have heard it before.
