Dentist in Sinagra
Sinagra sits directly north of Hocking, which makes us the nearest practice to most of it.
Sinagra is small and almost entirely residential, so there is no dental practice inside it. In practice that means a choice between coming south to us in Hocking or going considerably further west towards Joondalup.
We are the short version of that trip, and we are family owned rather than part of a group. The difference that makes is not sentimental. It is that you see the same dentists each visit, and that an appointment is as long as the appointment needs to be.

- Will I see the same dentist each time?
- That is how we book by default. If you have a preference, say so when you ring and we will keep you on that dentist's list.
- What happens at a first appointment?
- An examination, usually X-rays, then a written plan with costs against it. Nothing is started on the day unless you ask us to.
- Are you a preferred provider for my fund?
- We are for HBF, Medibank, nib, HCF, Bupa and CBHS. Other funds can still be claimed on the spot through HICAPS; the gap is usually a little larger.
- Can I ask for a particular dentist by name?
- Yes, and it is worth doing. Continuity is most of what a regular practice is for — someone comparing this year's examination against last year's finds things that a first impression does not. The trade-off is availability, so book a little further ahead for a specific person.
- What if my usual dentist is away when I need something?
- Your record travels with you rather than with the dentist, so whoever sees you has the same history, the same X-rays and the same notes. For anything urgent that is the sensible option; for elective work you can wait for your own dentist if you would rather.
- How far ahead can I book my next check-up?
- As far as you like, and booking the next one before you leave is the single most reliable way to keep the interval. We send a reminder before it comes around, so it does not have to live in your head for six months.
